Privacy Policy

Momentum LLC dba Longship Studio (“Longship”, “we”) runs longship.studio. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our site or work with us, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Information you give us — name, email, phone, business details and project answers from our contact and intake forms.
• Client project data — content, brand assets and account logins you share so we can build your site.
• Billing details — handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage data — privacy-friendly analytics (pages viewed, referrer, device type). No advertising trackers. When someone opens a private design concept we’ve made for their business, we’re notified with the time, device type and approximate city (from the connection). We don’t store IP addresses.

How we use it

To reply to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support projects, send invoices, and improve our website. We don’t sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business — hosting (Vercel), payments (Stripe), email and form delivery (Resend), and analytics — each bound by their own privacy terms. We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries for up to 2 years; client records for as long as needed for the project and tax purposes (typically 7 years). Logins you share are deleted or returned when the project ends.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing ryan@longship.studio. Residents of states with privacy laws (such as California) have additional rights, which we honour on request.

Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of longship.studio. Paid projects are governed by a separate signed Website Services Agreement, which takes priority over these terms.

Using this site

You may browse and contact us for lawful purposes. Don’t attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or submit false information through our forms.

Pricing and quotes

Prices shown are starting prices in US dollars and may change. A quote is binding only once it appears in a signed proposal and agreement. Proposals are valid for 30 days.

Payment terms

Projects are billed in two parts: a 50% non-refundable deposit to book your project and start design, and the remaining 50% when the site is ready to launch. Invoices are sent by email through our payment processor (Stripe) and are due within 7 days. We launch on your domain once the final invoice is paid, and ownership of the design, code and content passes to you on full payment. Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted and approved in writing before it starts.

Monthly payment ($0 down)

Instead of the two-part billing above, a new website or revamp can be paid in 12 equal monthly installments with no deposit and no interest, alongside an active Care Plan or Local Visibility plan; a web app can be paid the same way alongside App Care. Ownership of the design, code and content passes to you once the build is paid in full. If the plan is cancelled before the 12 installments are paid, the remaining build balance becomes due.

Our content

The text, design and graphics on this site belong to Momentum LLC dba Longship Studio. Client work shown in our portfolio belongs to the respective clients and is displayed with permission.

Care Plans

Care Plans (including Local Visibility) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically. Cancel any time with 30 days’ notice by email; there are no cancellation fees. Each plan includes unlimited small edits, handled one request at a time; larger changes are quoted separately before any work starts.

Web apps and App Care

App Care is required with any web app we build, because apps need ongoing hosting and upkeep. It covers hosting, the database, backups, security updates and small changes, and is billed monthly in advance like a Care Plan. Larger changes are quoted separately before any work starts.

Installable app add-on

The installable app add-on is available only for a site we build or look after, and is billed as a flat price.

No warranties

This site is provided “as is”. We work to keep information accurate but don’t guarantee it is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, Longship isn’t liable for losses arising from use of this site.

Governing law
